Privacy
What this site collects, how advertising cookies work here, and how to turn personalized ads off.
What happens when you visit
This site has no accounts, no comment forms and no newsletter sign-up, and we run no visitor analytics of our own.
Like any website, ours receives what a web server needs in order to send you a page: your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, and the type of browser you use. We do not combine that with anything else or use it to identify you.
Advertising and cookies
Pages on this site may show advertising. The ads are supplied by third-party vendors, including Google, and those vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and to other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of other vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.
Where the law requires your consent before advertising cookies are set, you are asked for it first.
Advertisers do not choose what we cover and do not see it before it is published.
The calculators
The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us or to anyone else, and they are gone when you close the page.
If you write to us
If you email us, we keep your message and address so that we can reply. We do not add you to a list or pass your details on.
Changes
When what this site collects changes, this page changes first. The date at the top shows the last revision.
